Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of WebifyPDF, including the website, dashboard, PDF upload tools, form builder, public form links, response collection, PDF export features, billing flows, and related services.
By creating an account, using the dashboard, publishing a form, submitting a response, or otherwise using WebifyPDF, you agree to these Terms. If you use WebifyPDF for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and references to "you" include that organization.
2. The Service
WebifyPDF lets account users upload PDFs, create web forms from those PDFs, share form links, collect responses, and export submitted answers back into the original PDF format. Some features may depend on third-party services, browser capabilities, file quality, PDF structure, and account billing status.
WebifyPDF may add, change, suspend, or remove features over time. We may set or change technical limits for file size, page count, field count, submissions, exports, storage, analysis, email delivery, or other usage as needed to protect reliability, security, or product quality.
3. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for your account, credentials, form settings, public links, passwords, team access, and activity under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us if you believe your account or forms have been accessed without authorization.
Account owners and authorized account members may access PDFs, forms, responses, exports, settings, billing status, and related account content. Until account-switching or more advanced team controls are available, WebifyPDF may use the first account membership associated with a user as the active account.
4. Customer Content
You retain ownership of PDFs, form settings, field labels, logos, form text, respondent submissions, signatures, exports, and other content uploaded to or created in WebifyPDF by you or through your forms. You grant WebifyPDF the rights needed to host, store, process, transmit, analyze, display, email, export, troubleshoot, and otherwise operate the service for that content.
You are responsible for your Customer Content, including whether you have the right to upload it, request it from respondents, process it, store it, share it, and export it. You are also responsible for notices, consents, authorizations, retention decisions, privacy disclosures, and legal bases required for your use of WebifyPDF.
5. Forms and Respondents
If you publish a public or password-protected form, anyone with access to the link and any required password may submit information to that form. You are responsible for choosing form settings, protecting shared links and passwords, deciding whether to request respondent name or email, and communicating with respondents about your collection and use of their information.
Respondents should only submit information they are authorized to provide. If you are a respondent, the form owner is responsible for the form's purpose, requested information, and handling of your submitted answers. WebifyPDF provides the technical form and PDF workflow for the form owner.
6. AI-Assisted PDF Analysis
WebifyPDF may use AI-assisted analysis to help identify embedded PDF fields, group related fields, and create cleaner respondent-facing labels. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your workflow, so you are responsible for reviewing and editing fields before publishing a form.
The current analysis flow may process PDF metadata, embedded field names, field types, options, coordinates, and extracted nearby PDF text through AI providers. Do not upload PDFs containing protected health information, regulated financial data, legally privileged records, export-controlled information, or other highly sensitive content unless you have confirmed in writing that WebifyPDF is appropriate for that use.
7. Signatures and PDF Outputs
WebifyPDF supports drawn, typed, and uploaded signature fields as form answers. WebifyPDF is not a dedicated electronic signature platform and does not currently provide signer identity verification, tamper-evident audit trails, certificate evidence, or legal-signature compliance workflows.
PDF exports are provided for convenience and workflow automation. You are responsible for reviewing exported PDFs, confirming accuracy, deciding whether a PDF should remain editable or be locked, and determining whether the output satisfies your business, legal, compliance, or recordkeeping requirements.
8. Billing, Trials, and Subscriptions
Paid plans may be offered monthly or yearly and may include a free trial. The current Pro trial is 14 days and requires a payment card. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription may convert to a paid recurring subscription for the selected plan.
Billing is handled through third-party billing and payment providers. By starting a trial, subscribing, changing plans, or opening the billing portal, you authorize WebifyPDF and its billing providers to process charges, invoices, taxes, renewals, plan changes, cancellations, and related billing events for your account.
Subscription fees are billed in advance for the applicable billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in writing. You can manage or cancel billing through the billing flow made available in the dashboard. Canceling prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically delete your account content.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use WebifyPDF to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, probe or bypass security controls, overload infrastructure, scrape or resell the service, send spam, impersonate others, collect information without required authority, or process content you are not allowed to process.
You may not use WebifyPDF for emergency, life-safety, high-risk, or legally regulated workflows where failure, delay, loss, unauthorized disclosure, or inaccurate output could cause serious harm unless WebifyPDF has agreed to that use in a separate written agreement.
10. Third-Party Services
WebifyPDF relies on third-party services for hosting, authentication, database, file storage, AI analysis, analytics, error reporting, advertising measurement, conversion tracking, transactional email, billing, payments, and content delivery. These services may process Customer Content, account data, billing data, usage data, advertising event data, and technical information as needed to provide WebifyPDF.
Third-party services are not controlled by WebifyPDF, and their availability, security, terms, policies, and behavior may affect the service. WebifyPDF is not responsible for third-party services except as required by applicable law.
11. Intellectual Property
WebifyPDF and its software, design, branding, logos, documentation, workflows, and other product materials are owned by WebifyPDF or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of WebifyPDF technology to you.
You may submit feedback or suggestions. If you do, you grant WebifyPDF the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
12. Privacy
WebifyPDF's Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, and retained, including analytics, cookies, advertising measurement, and conversion tracking. The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms and is available at /privacy.
13. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using WebifyPDF at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to WebifyPDF if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay amounts owed, abuse the service, or if continued access would harm WebifyPDF, users, respondents, providers, or third parties.
Termination or suspension may prevent access to PDFs, forms, responses, exports, billing flows, and other account content. Some provisions of these Terms will continue after termination, including sections about Customer Content, billing obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute-related terms.
14. Disclaimers
WebifyPDF is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WebifyPDF disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.
WebifyPDF does not provide legal, medical, tax, financial, compliance, or professional advice. You are responsible for determining whether WebifyPDF and any forms, submissions, signatures, exports, or records are suitable for your intended use.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WebifyPDF will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, replacement services, or loss of goodwill.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WebifyPDF's total liability for any claim related to the service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to WebifyPDF for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you have not paid WebifyPDF during that period.
16. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WebifyPDF from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your Customer Content, forms, respondent collection practices, use of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement or misappropriation of third-party rights.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the website, dashboard, or email. Continued use of WebifyPDF after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
